DigitSum is designed to keep your information private. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.

1. What we collect
DigitSum does not require accounts or personal information. Calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. We do not collect names, email addresses, or financial data.
2. Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of cookies and local storage entries to remember your preferences (language, currency, unit system) and your cookie consent choice. These are functional and do not track you across other sites.
3. Analytics
When you consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, approximate location (country level), device type, and browser. Google Analytics does not receive any calculator inputs or personal financial data.
4. Consent mode
For visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, analytics and advertising cookies are denied by default until you provide consent through the cookie banner. You can change your preference at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the site footer.
5. Third-party services
We use Cloudflare for hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare may process connection metadata (IP address, request headers) as described in their privacy policy. Fonts are served locally to avoid third-party font requests.
6. Data retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months according to our configuration. Local storage preferences persist in your browser until you clear them. We do not maintain any server-side user database.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since DigitSum does not collect personal data on its servers, there is typically nothing to request. You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings at any time.
8. Children's privacy
DigitSum does not knowingly collect information from children under 16. The site is a general-purpose calculator tool and does not target minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
